It’s that time a year again…all the little (and not so little kids) are gearing up for the first day of school. I hear all the emotions from my mommy friends and see many images of tears and smiles on social media. First day of preschool, middle school, senior year of high school…. the years are sadly, flying by. Our son Dylan was born August 26, 2010 and in the state of Florida the cut off to start Kindergarten is September 1st. Almost days after his birth, the agony of a hard decision really resonated with me. “He will make the cut off by 5 days!” As parents we know the second that baby is born, the weight of your parenting choices are a huge reality. Some have little impact, others the course of lives are at stake. Would we or wouldn’t we let Dylan start Kindergarten as a 4 year old or would we wait and give him one more year? The thought did not consume me every day of his little life, but around this time of year I would be reminded “the year” was creeping up and a choice would have to be made. Dylan was a happy, healthy baby and toddler. He built block towers, loved his Melissa and Doug puzzles and did all sorts of arts and crafts. WiFi Baby | Video Baby Monitors – Feature Tutorial Part one of our new instructional Video Baby Monitors series “In The Nursey.” This series will highlight WiFi Baby app features you may not be aware of starring Co-Founder Stefanie Fox & Jazmin who handles our social media. We hope this helps our existing customers and potential customers that want to learn more about WiFi Baby. Episode One shows the Audio Boost feature. These quick tutorials will be featured on our Blog and YouTube channel. Additional Features: Prevent Auto-Lock: Once the app is opened, this prevents your device from going to sleep, perfect for overnight monitoring. You can multitask (still hearing audio) and it will still prevent your device from locking. Send/Receive Settings: This option is extremely convenient. Once you’ve set the app up once, you’re done. If you have multiple iOS devices you can share your settings with all your devices with just one click. Background Audio: This allows audio while using other apps along with notifications. Audio Boost: Doubles the max volume of your device. This is nice to have when you’re monitoring in an area that has a lot of ambient noise and want to be reassured you can hear everything. Auto Mute: Set a minimum audio level to hear audio. Useful at night so you are hearing only what’s important: Your Baby. It eliminates any nursery music you have on an iPod dock or white noise machine. Lvl Notify: Set a minimum audio level for a notification.
